Art Journal Page - Torn Paper

Normally, I don't post many art journal pages here.  I wanted to share a page that I made for Mike Deakin's Mission Inspiration Group on Facebook.  I was on a work trip so I took the following:

1.  Watercolor pencils
2.  My mixed media journal
3.  A magazine
4.  A mechanical pencil
5.  Dry adhesive.

To do this project, I sketched the view from my window.  Wasn't it the best?  Then I tore pages from the magazine that had colors that I was interest in.   The pieces were adhered using the dry adhesive.  I haven't done a collage like this since Miss Smith's Art Class in 8th grade, so it has been a good while!  I often think fondly of her.  I was allowed to take art for the entirety of 8th grade, which was awesome.
