A little bit vintage.....

I have been making tags for a challenge by Martha (Martica) at scrapbook.com and I also entered another challenge from Marci called 5 plus.  It is using another's layout for inspiration by taking 5 of their elements and adding your own.  So here is what I have come up with.....

This layout is my DS doing his 7th grade presentation for Night of the Notables.  He chose Jackie Robinson as his notable.  I love all of the work he did on his poster, and his oral presentation.  Plus his baseball outfit (most of which was his) came out great.  Preston loves baseball, so this was a natural.

These two tags are made with vintage images supplied by Martha.  This group does amazing vintage/shabby chic work.  I always feel a bit inferior.  However, I love how these two turned out.  For the first tag, entitled "the Lord is my Shepherd,"  I cut layers from about 7 images and carefully stacked them to give a dimensional look.  I of course added the 23rd Psalm first and second stanzas to the scroll.

I love this image. She has a great come hither look.  I entitled this tag, "Want to dance?".  I envision her as the life of the dance floor!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Hope to see you all again soon!

Steampunk ATCs

Crafting and camping.  What a wonderful and relaxing combination.  We just returned from Kayak Point Park where we were camping in a Yurt.  I was able to make these ATCs by having a supply envelope with me and a little adhesive.

This is the trail behind our Yurt, down to the beach.  It was lovely!  I am so at peace here.

Here is the road to the beach and a photo front near the caretakers cottage.  Mrs. Whisman used to live here when I was growing up and my grandparents, just slightly to the NW.
Have a peaceful week.
