Happy - A Card Recipe to Try!

Hello from the rainy Pacific Northwest!  I am still dreaming of sunshine, despite all of the rainy skies here!  This week I am using the same papers and same techniques to produce two very different cards.  I will show you the first one today and the next one later in the month!

The recipe:
Colors:  Pink, Purple, Black and Whites
Patterned paper from the Garden Kit: Rustic Spring Kit  cut to 5 1/4 x 4
Embossing
Chalk Ink (Prima Ingvild Bolme Chalk Ink Blossom Tree)
Butterflies
Flowers (Market Floral Mixology Pink Flamingo)
Title
Shimmer paint  (Shimmerz Inklingz Coral Reef and Steely Blue Eyes)
Glitter

Spray Mists (Shimmerz Spritz in Plum Pudding)

For this card I used paper from the main kit from International Scrapbook Garden; the mixed media bonus kit provided the mist, and the bonus embellishment kit provided the glitter, stamp and title chipboard.

Do you ever get stuck on your card making? Or any kind of craft for that matter?  Sometimes I find a recipe can do the trick, sometimes a sketch is just the ticket, or sometimes working in my art journal on techniques can really help!

Have a great day!
