Happy Saturday, everyone. Today's project reminds me a little of the Green Man meets Picasso for a fun "mash up" that is idea to frame or put on a tote for holiday giving!
Ingredients:
Acrylic Paint
Stabilo All Pencil in Green
Pitt Pen Black 0.5 micron
Matte Media
Metallic Dew Drops: Metallic Pink, Metallic Teal and Metallic Silver from the classified mini dew drops
Stencil (floral themed)
Directions:
1. Tape down canvas with stencil on top.
2. Sponge light green paint over the stencil.
3. Remove stencil from canvas and let dry completely. Paint colors of features and flower using your choice of colors.
4. Let dry. At this point I go back over any black lines that I would like to have show with a Pitt Pen. I also went around the green background elements with a dark green Stabilo All pencil. It writes easily over the acrylic paint and gave me a darker border around each of the green elements.
5. Add Dew Drops with liquid adhesive of your choice and let dry thoroughly.
6. There you have it a fun canvas. I am going to sew this onto a tote bag and use it for holiday gift giving.
