One, Yes One, Day of Snow

I am so happy to report that Portland had one day of snow. That's right one day! I happened to have the day off of work, so it was the perfect day as well.

These two LO are from photos taken that afternoon when the snow came. First of all, I have to say that I am thrilled to be able to take the photos and second I am truly blessed. In December of 2008, with a similar snow event (longer though) my DH suffered a heart attack. After some time in the hospital and a stent placement, changing his diet and exercise routine, he is a "new" man. Over the last year, I thing he lost about 30 lbs! Good job!

Also I am thrilled that my DS is still willing to have his photograph taken, and offers helpful *scrapbooking tips*. He is a bright guy and really the light of my life, most of the time!

So, today, I am thankful for one day of snow, rain and that it is getting more light outside. Have a great week!

I just adore the Lo's and what a scary thing to go through...I know...we have also been through it and Joe has 4 stents placed....It still scares me when the snow comes and I dread the thought that he has to shovel...so now we have my son in law over to help out!!!

Wishing you a day filled with smiles...thanks for sharing and passing on some inspiration!!! :-)

Very nice, V! If you want, I can ship all our snow out west. I'm sure you'd get sick of it real quick, just like I have. ;)
