We have had our dear friend, Pearl (Black Pearl) for a year now. I made this layout in response to the Core'dinations web site challenge to emboss as much as possible with different embossing plates on a layout. On this layout, I was able to emboss 9 different textures on various Core'dinations card stock - the background is even a piece of their card stock (Black Magic) that I flipped and used the back.
To unify all of the embossing, I lightly sanded (except on the glittery pieces) and inked with Tim Holtz Tea Stain Distress Ink.
This is our lovely Pearl. Notice what a tough life she has reclining in front of the fireplace! Ah, we could all wish for such luck.
