Here is my inspiration for you!  It is an all occasion card which is "Simply Lovely"!

I used the following ingredients:

Cardstock - Bazzill Basics

Patterned Paper - Glitz and My Mind's Eye

Floss - American Crafts

Die Cuts and Vellum Bag - Fancy Pants

Wood Veneer Circles - Studio Calico

Ink - Prima

My card measures 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 inches and has eight layers.  I love the vintage look, so it was inked.  I think the layering also adds to this look!
